NSI Foundation Acrylic Course
Following completion of the foundation course, successful students will graduate with an NSI Diploma of Graduation, which is industry recognised and accredited by The Guild of Beauty Therapist enabling you to obtain insurance and practice as a qualified Nail Technician.
The five day foundation course is designed to provide a platform upon which the amateur can develop their skills. The course has been carefully constructed to provide you with the right mix of both practical skills and knowledge to allow you to progress in your career as a nail professional.
The course requires students to provide case studies and complete a portfolio which counts towards the final assessment.
Also a theory test is taken on day four
The final practical exam is on day 5

Nail Anatomy
Nail diseases and disorders
Tip application
Sculpting technique
Powder to liquid ratio
Product application
Filing and finishing techniques
Maintenance procedures
Repairs
Enhancement removal
Nail biter application
Business advice, business building tips
Salon etiquette
Requirements:-
No previous experience is required.

10am - 4pm

Salon wear is advisable
You will require a model without nail enhancements on.

Booking & Cancellation
A deposit/booking fee of £150 is payable on booking your place. This is non refundable or transferable. The Balance of £400 is due 2 weeks before the course date. The kit will also need to be purchased at least two weeks prior to the commencement of the course at a cost of £175
If a cancellation is made after the 2 week cut off period, you will lose full payment.
